Insulation Systems - Soccer

The Challenge
The Indoor Soccer Center wanted to convert a four-court tennis building into an indoor soccer arena. The existing insulation had holes in it from its’ previous use as a tennis facility. They also wanted to add insulation to their building to help with the energy costs.
The Solution
ICA installed 38,800sf of the 3” Energy Miser Insulation System. This system utilized a Gymguard facing specifically made to withstand a tennis ball or hockey puck. The existing direct light fixtures were lowered to accommodate the new ceiling profile. The new insulation system not only covered up the existing torn-up insulation, it also dramatically improved their costs to air-condition the building.
The Result
With the installation of the Energy Miser Insulation System, the Indoor Soccer Center achieved its’ goal of becoming more energy efficient. The Energy Miser System also enhanced the lighting effectiveness of the existing fixtures. This has created an aesthetically pleasing environment for both the owners and the clientele.
